Scientific papers are written to a rigid format, composed of 4 sections,
which correspond with the stages of the scientific method. This essay
describes the relationship of the standard sections of a paper to the stages
of the scientific method. Also for discussion will be the timing of the
preparation of the paper and the relationship between the experimental
protocol and the eventual paper.
