This article on nursing diagnosis and nursing practice addresses a wide range of current issues about the status and further development of nursing diagnosis. It arose from a series of questions posed by Ms. Randi Mortensen, of Denmark, to Mi Ja Kim, Professor and Dean at the University of Illinoisat Chicago and takes the form of a dialogue, where Ms. Mortensen's questions are answered. Dr. Dorothy Camillert has helped with the answers and is included in the authorship.
