Few studies focus on the application of gamification in psychology, and this paper discusses the concept of meaningful gamification and its potential benefits in the classroom.

Conclusion
Opportunity exists within psychology courses to implement and advance the study of meaningful gamification via innovative instructional gamification approaches in pedagogy.
