Abstract

Dr Kathy Burlew served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Black Psychology (JBP) from 1987 to 2001. In this article, she shares the activities, successes and challenges of that tenure. She ends with her perspective on future directions and opportunities for JBP.
