Viscosity measurements were used for measuring the rheological behaviour of rubber blends in solution and hence their compatibility. The change of the intrinsic viscosity [η] of NR/BR, NR/NBR, and NR/IIR blend com positions showed straight line, curve-linear, and S-shape respectively. This be haviour may be explained on the basis of compatibility, i.e., NR forms with BR compatible blends, with IIR incompatible blends, but with NBR semi- compatible blends.
