Abstract
Copolyester, under the trade name HYTREL® polyester elastomer, is a unique polymer which has many of the advantages of vulcanized rubber plus the ease of processing in conventional plastics equipment. Copolyester has an established position in conventional hot oil environments and recent laboratory tests indicate its applications can be extended to gasoline and alcohol-extended fuels. This paper will describe tests, procedures and results which demonstrate the resistance of copolyester to various fuels.
