Abstract
The dynamic properties of a filled elastomer are obtained over a broad frequency range. This extended frequency range is obtained by shifting the isotherms obtained over a limited frequency range. The response at a number of strain amplitudes from 0.5% to 14% is obtained. The material response is nonlinear at strains of 1% and larger. The strain dependent characterization in the context of a nonlinear theory of visco elasticity is marginally successful. The broad frequency range over which data is obtained permits a graphical approach to the characterization of the strain dependence.
