Abstract
This paper describes examples of application of rheology to polymer processing. The examples are chosen among less known problems or inadequately understood ones. The importance of correct diagnosis is emphasized as against rigorous probing required in the fundamental rheology. In explaining the problems commonly held misconceptions are pointed out. Both plastics and rubber processing are included.
