Abstract
The following are brief resumes, prepared by Raúl Fernández and John Myer, of a number of recent books written about Colombia by Colombians. Our purpose is to bring to the attention of readers some important works not readily available to the American reader, which contribute to an understanding of the economic and political processes in Colombia, the issue of imperialist penetration, the role of the military, and so on. We hope that this bibliography will stimulate readers to deepen their grasp of Colombia. There is no attempt to be exhaustive either in coverage of each work or in the number of works presented, which is limited to 12 fairly recent titles.
