Abstract
Our country is faced with a crime explosion, the main beneficiaries of which are attorneys and court employees. Prisons are not as terrible as some people would have us believe. To stem recidivism, present conditions for the hard-core criminals should be made more primitive. Other prisoners should be sent to work farms and factories to work and live in a productive manner.
