Abstract
Ideally, it should be possible to use an identical submission file for the European Union, Japan, and the United States. With respect to chemical entities and the manufacturing and controls section of the dossier some questions remain to be answered. Is harmonization still required? What is the present status of the harmonization process? Which developments may be expected in the future?
