Abstract
Contractors who package clinical trial supplies provide a valuable service to pharmaceutical companies. This paper offers ground rules for working with a contractor and details how pharmaceutical clients can take advantage of the contractor's experience and expertise, for example, in designing packaging. Quality control requirements, and the roles of both the client and contractor in achieving quality, are discussed.
