Abstract
In the hope that plant-based medicinal products will replace some medicines more likely to have side effects, the French Health Ministry has been working to give greater respectability to them. This paper reviews the status of plant-based medicinal products in France, discussing the “Notice to Manufacturers Concerning Marketing Authorization Applications for Plant-Based Medicinal Products” and the evaluation of marketing applications for plant-based medicinal products.
