This article presents two inciting actions of French Drug Regulatory Authorities in the field of clinical evaluation of drugs: creation and sponsoring of a network gathering the main departments of clinical pharmacology throughout France and improvement of the quality of the clinical trials performed in France via the publication of an official guidebook about Good Clinical Practices.
