Abstract
Representatives from Berlex research and development formed a Computer Systems Validation Committee to prioritize and direct validation efforts at Berlex. A systems development life cycle (SDLC) was developed which incorporated prototyping, validation, documentation, and management control. This SDLC is being used in revalidating the existing bioanalytical computer system. The planning and progress of this effort is discussed.
