Food and Drug Administration's Considerations in Geriatric Drug Testing

Abstract

Proper drug use by the elderly is a priority with the Food and Drug Administration. In addition to working for better testing of drugs in the elderly, FDA has been involved in developing patient drug information, the Public Health Service Healthy Older People initiative, the National Council on Patient Information and Education, and health fraud surveillance.
