Abstract
The TOXSYS™ System Organ Weighing (OWS), Gross Pathology (GPS), and Microscopic Pathology (DMS) components represent state of the art, automated support for small-animal histopathology. The TOXSYS™ System is a commercial product of Beckman Instruments, Inc, and has been in daily operation for more than 4 years. The system is very user-friendly, is constantly evolving, and offers substantial return on investment. The TOXSYS™ System employs special hardware and software which collect and report histopathology data. The histopathology software is designed to allow flexible, accurate data collection with immediate report generation in all phases of small-animal post-mortem examinations.
