Abstract
Medical Surveillance and Communications, Medical Affairs, at Norwich Eaton Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, classifying and communicating all facets of possible adverse reactions to company products. Worldwide literature and data on investigational drugs and marketed ethical products are entered into a comprehensive computer database for later retrieval as required. Adverse reaction trends are identified and disseminated as appropriate. Medical Surveillance and Communications also performs drug information services commensurate with the needs of the company, interfacing with various members of Medical Affairs and other appropriate company personnel.
