Abstract
The gathering of information and subsequent selection of a computer system is usually a long, drawn out procedure. To start with, you must collect your facts. You must then quantify them and determine what you must have, and what would be nice to have. At this point you would usually think that the worst is all behind you. The primary thrust of this paper is to not only equip the user with the necessary armor, but to also give him/ her confidence and perseverance in his/ her vendor interaction.
