Abstract
The 8th Middle East Regulatory Conference (MERC), organized by the Drug Information Association (DIA), was held in Bahrain on January 20–21, 2009, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Faizal Yacob Al Hamer, and in close cooperation with Dr. Mohamed Nasser, Director, Pharmacy and Drug Control at the Ministry of Health of Bahrain.
