The co-editors of the English edition of the original Lexikon Missionstheologischer Grundbegriffe, Stephen B. Bevans and Richard H. Bliese, are responsible for this report. The report gives an account of the origin of the English edition, the process of editing it, and offers four reasons why the editors believe that it is an important missiological tool of the trade: (1) It is a rich source of information on a variety of subjects. (2) It is a good introduction to European missiological scholarship. (3) It provides a wealth of bibliography. (4) It is printed in an attractive format.
