Concerned that many large missions are aping the tactics of transnational corporations to the detriment of spreading the gospel as Christ taught it, authors Samuel and Sugden here make a disturbing comparison that leaves all missiologists with serious questions that we must not ignore. In the church the power of decision making must be wrested from the wealthy and invested in the indigenous, even if that church is poor.
