Abstract
Given the new forces at work in the world of Islam, how does the Christian Church respond? Of first importance, says author Stacey, is understanding, as far as discernible, God's strategy. Her long years of experience in Pakistan and the Middle East, particularly relating to Muslim students, press her to recall two phenomena which historically have been crucial to Christian expansion: migrations and dispersions; and the revival of religion in the older churches. She also offers practical proposals for the total mobilization of Christian resources including relevant training options for Christians in international secular occupations.
