Abstract
Missionary Professor McCurry wants to approach his Muslim friends with increasing sensitivity toward their Islamic culture, while still avoiding compromise of crucial theological issues. In his desire to be informed by Scripture, he has concentrated on biblical models particularly applicable to crossing the cultural boundary between Western Christianity and Islam. What he finds is that we not only are justified in taking a more cultural approach, but we certainly should do so if we are to avoid distorting our message. The author assumes the reader will make his own application of the biblical models cited; but he takes time to share the personal adjustments he plans for his own ministry upon his return to Pakistan.
