Abstract
The author describes the results and effects of a program in which American and Bolivian young Methodists teamed to bring various kinds of practical help to a community of resettled Aymara Indians in the tropical lowlands They were first trained, then sent out in pairs. Greatest problems were experienced in interpersonal relations within the teams, because of differences in culture and personality. There were also certain problems caused by differences between the team members and local members of the church in their views of the role of the teams. An effort is made to evaluate the impart of the program on the local church situation.
