Nida replies here is presented anonymously, and without reference to location (except that of Latin America) to avoid creating any greater misunderstanding between the parties concerned. Many missionary readers will recognize a parallel situation in their own area. Those who do not might well take the time to listen carefully, in case they have overlooked the real feelings of the church. What does the local church understand by the large mission-founded institutions?
