Abstract
The study of how Christian movements get started in specific cases, how they grow or decline, and the social forces involved is one of the prime purposes of this periodical. Miss Cowan has provided us with an interesting and valuable case study which no reader should overlook simply because it deals with a remote Mexican group. We could well use more such studies from the peasant villages or the cities of Asia, Africa, and other parts of the world.
