Abstract
Dr. Adams here presents a brief discussion of some of the important differences in value orientation between a Korean and an American. He discusses some of the implications of these differences for education in Korea and for the role of an American educational adviser. Many of the points are valid to varying degrees for other non-Western cultures with which American educators and missionaries are working, and some of the essential principles apply everywhere.
