Abstract
The question concerning the Triune God's relationship to the world is constitutive for any understanding of a congregation's life in mission. A socially embodied theology of participation finds its condition of possibility in the life of the Triune God. This condition of possibility provides a theology of participation with an understanding of the life of the Triune God as a community of love in mutual relationality and genuine otherness. We propose as a ground for a theology of participation this more social trinitarian understanding, rather than an understanding of God as single acting Subject.
