Abstract
Before the communication of the message comes the call to the messenger. The Bible provides examples of how God communicated with humans in calling out his servants as well as providing an understanding of the nature of the message. Throughout history, missionaries have responded to what they perceived as a divine appointment to be ambassadors of the Most High.
