Abstract
Rychlak (1981) has suggested that a personality theory is framed around very specific constructs or criteria. When Rychlak's constructs are applied to the writings of a group of neo-pentecostals known as faith teachers, an inherent or implicit theory of personality, illness, and cure emerges. This implicit theory of personality held unself-consciously by the faith teachers is made explicit in this article.
