In order to integrate the insights of psychology with the revealed truth of the Bible, we need to clearly understand and state our position on ultimate authority. It is possible for Christian psychologists to affirm the authority of the Bible within the context of a position on revelation which in fact undermines the authority they affirm. In this article, the concern is to suggest that the nature of God's revelation to man argues for holding to biblical revelation as the final arbiter in all our integration efforts.
