Abstract
Value patterns of religious churchgoers were examined by the Political Cube and Christian Cube models as developed from Psychopolitical theory. Comparisons between The André Psychopolitical Scale, The André Psychopolitical Differential and the Rokeach Value Survey suggested that churchgoing groups were more oriented toward Love, Security and Rationality than controls, Christian churchgoers were distinct from non-Christian churchgoers, and all groups had consistent value patterns and motive orientations. It was suggested that further questions concerning religious values may be addressed from either religious or political domains of inquiry.
