The author suggests congruence between Murray Bowen's theory of triangles and Christian marriage. Bowen's triangle theory is provided as a basis for understanding the stabilizing role of Christ as an integral member of the marital triangle. A tacit, underlying assumption is the “impossibleness” of marriage without Christ as a participant.
