Abstract
In Scripture man is challenged to transform himself through the renewal of his mind. Research in neuropsychology suggests that there are at least two minds, a verbal, analytic left hemisphere and a spatial, gestalt right hemisphere. This research is reviewed and the conclusions drawn from it are applied to the biblical modes of communication. It is suggested that forms of worship be devised which emphasize the symbolic forms in the Bible as well as the rational forms of discourse in order that complete transformation of the mind may occur.
