Psychologists are becoming increasingly interested in the topic of morality and the variables that comprise mature, responsible behavior. One of the more engaging models that may be applied to this concern is psychoanalytic in nature. The ego which relates to the world of reality and the superego that comprises the realm of the conscience may be combined to produce optimal conduct. Implications of this paradigm for the Christian are explored.
