Abstract
A survey of the attitudes of people and religious bodies toward, as well as the literature presently available on, the subject of abortion. It points out the theological and ethical questions being asked and the answers being given. It does not attempt to arrive at any value judgments or conclusions, but highlights areas which require further research.
