Abstract
A 35 year old male suffering from obsessive-compulsive neurosis was referred to this examiner after 18 months of psycho-analysis. The client's multiple obsessive-compulsive behaviour had decreased only slightly and further obsessions had subsequently manifested themselves. A seven-day baseline was initiated after which a multimodal behaviour therapy regimen was used over a 28-day period. After the 21st day the subject reported full control of his compulsions and on a six-week assessment he reported that marital, personal and social relations had improved as a result of his control over previous compulsive acts.
