Early risk stratification after corrosive ingestion is challenging, particularly in low and middle-income countries where endoscopy and advanced imaging may not be immediately available. We aimed to develop a pragmatic early predictive model based solely on readily obtainable clinical and laboratory variables at admission. The final model demonstrated good calibration and excellent discrimination, supporting its potential role as an early triage tool.
