Abstract
A patent vitello-intestinal duct uncommonly presents as neonatal bowel prolapse. We describe a 20-day-old infant with double intussusception showing the Taurus sign, confirmed surgically and treated by resection and anastomosis with good recovery. This distinctive sign allows rapid bedside diagnosis, signals vascular compromise, guides surgery, and promotes urgent intervention, helping prevent ischaemic morbidity in this rare neonatal emergency, especially in resource-limited settings, thus improving early outcomes through timely surgical referral and management.
