Abstract
A park under construction with a Chinese historical theme was presented to both local residents and foreign visitors for the purpose of assessing their receptivity. From their responses to a research questionnaire, including experiences about tourist spots in Sin gapore and a host of other questions, their inclination to visit this new theme park was determined. They were also given a list of attractions and activities of the park and requested to evaluate each of them. Their responses provided additional information to assist the park management to plan marketing activities accordingly.
