The leisure, travel, and recreation industry is at a critical point. Inflation and limited mobility will force changes in both the quantity and use of leisure time in the next decade, and use patterns for public parks and recreational sites will change drastically. This article discusses trends for the 1980s and suggests implications for the forecast changes.
