Abstract
The following article documents the procedures used in a survey of air visitors to Canada from the United States in the summer of 1971. It will be useful to anyone planning or contemplating a survey of visitors travelling by commercial carrier whether it be plane, train, bus, or boat. It is also an example of research carried out on a cooperative basis by 22 sponsors.
