Changing Sources of Self-Esteem among Girls and Boys in Secondary Schools

Abstract

Self-esteem of early adolescent girls depends upon parental support, but that of boys upon a sense of mastery. Later; sense of mastery becomes most important for both boys' and girls' self-esteem.
