“My impression is that the time is ripe for a genuine theological renaissance and that the role of the chaplain in the immediate years ahead may be crucial … It is never easy to live or minister ‘on the boundary’ between one's own particular religious faith and the universal needs of students … The mission of the college chaplain continues to be that of singing the Lord's song in a strange land.”
