Abstract
“I have been trying to arrange my seminary classes in recent years in accordance with some of these student concerns. I take their quest for a more humane educational environment seriously, and since the initiative should come from the instructional side, I feel some obligation to respond positively. There is little likelihood, I think, of creating a complete campus community in this day and age, but the classroom seems an obvious format with which to experiment.”
