“Perhaps it is too simple to say that the authority and freedom problem is at base a problem of communication and commitment, but surely that is part of the difficulty; at least it is the source of the problem in the environmental context of my doing of theology. … The following three homilies represent one attempt to do theology in the context of preaching.”
