Abstract
“Where is the action to which he [Jesus] pointed taking place today? Where can he be found at work? Where can man be found by him today? One might naturally reply: ‘in the church.’ … Well, is it occurring in and through those of us who claim to be members, membranes, and sinews of his body? Is the church to which we belong participating primarily in liberating, life-giving, saving action for others in the world?”
