Abstract
“It upsets completely all the traditions of hospitality that come to us from land, sea, desert, and even saloon, not to say church. … For the first time, there is hospitality with no risk of contamination. … And the best of it is they can never, officially, be anything but grateful. … Good things may also be done that were not possible before. Especially when you love them but cannot stand them.”
