Abstract
“Faith is the way the Christian affirms the past and appropriates the meaning of certain past events deemed to be significant. … Hope is the way of declaring one's future to be open and assured, while love is the way of standing before your neighbor in the present moment … the theologian of today and tomorrow is a man without faith, without hope, with only the present and therefore only love to guide him.”
